The Leaf-Cutter Ants are carrying several thousand pieces of leaves every day into their hive to nourish their food: a growing fungus-field.
“For showing the shadows of their thin legs I put the flash about 4 metres far and I used insulation tape over most of the flashing area; so I left with just enoguh flashlight to make the shadows visible through the leaves.” – said the Hungarian photographer
